Vaccination

ACAB encourage all our students to get vaccinated, this is more so important as many workplaces are mandating it as well.

We also encourage all our students to sign in upon entry and sign out upon exit as per our COVID Safety Measures.

All students are requested to check their email and this section of the website regularly to stay up to date with any news that relates to your studies.

Also, make sure to keep an eye on the latest COVID news in NSW here.

Booking to get Vaccinated:

The NSW Government’s COVID-19 vaccine online booking system is your primary source of information for booking for your vaccine. Alternatively, you can contact the Coronavirus hotline on 1800 020 080.

For international students who do not have a Medicare Card, an Individual Health Identifier number can be obtained as per the below:

a- Online

  • Sign in to myGov (or create an account if you don’t have one already)
  • Click on Select services or link your first service.
  • Select IHI service from the list.
  • Follow the prompts.

b- Using a Form

You can get the form here. And if you need more information visit NSW Department of Health.

Check the NSW Department of Health for information on what to bring to your vaccine appointment.

Vaccination appointments may also be made with your local GP; however, this may not be a free service.

Vaccination and Study

Students are encouraged to get their first dose before any major assessments in order to avoid the possibility of sideffects clashing with your overall wellbeing during assessments.

If you are unable to book a vaccination appointment outside class hours, you need to discuss it with your teacher to make sure that you can organise how to make up for what you may be missing.

If you need anything else, please do not hesitate to get in touch on info@acab.edu.au
